Finding Books

You can find books on your topic by using the search tool on Books/Media tab on the SUNY Broome Library website.

  • You may need to use broader search terms, if more specific terms do not work.
  • Use the "Get It" button to request the title through Internlibrary loan, if the book is not available at the SUNY Broome Library.

Use the Find full-text or request copy button to link to full-text in another database, or request the article via Interlibrary loan.

  • Statista Portal for statistics.

Finding Reliable Websites

  • Who is posting this information? Are the author's name and credentials available? If not, look for an "About Us" link at the top or bottom of the page.
  • When was the information posted or last updated?
  • Are references listed?
  • How comprehensive is the information? Is it objective, or biased?
